Neil Young’s Tuesday concert at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park will be his first San Diego solo performance in 30 years.

Here’s what you need to know if you are going to the show by the two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, whose most recent area concert took place in 2015 at RIMAC Arena in La Jolla.

• The concert is sold out.

• Tickets can only be accessed on the Ticketmaster app.

• The gates to the venue will open at 5 p.m. Tuesday,, July 11.

• The concert will begin at 7 p.m. with an opening set by singer-songwriter Chris Pierce.

• All attendees must pass through a metal detector before being admitted.

• Tickets can only be accessed on the Ticketmaster app.

• Blankets, chairs of any kind and factory sealed water bottles or empty water bottles are not allowed.

• Bags are allowed, but must be single compartment, soft-sided, and smaller than 7 by 10 inches.

• The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park is a cashless venue. Credit and debit cards must be used for on-site purchases of food, beverages and concert-related merchandise.

• Parking at the adjacent San Diego Convention Center is sold out. As of this writing, parking in the structure at the Hilton Bayside hotel is available and costs $35 at space.aceparking.com/map/index/4.

• Free shuttle service is provided between the Hilton and the Rady Shell.

• The closest Metropolitan Transit System Green Line trolley stop to the concert venue is directly between the San Diego Convention Center and Petco Park.
