Call me basic, but I find comfort in liking things that are already popular. At this time of year, this means sipping a pumpkin spice latte, watching Gilmore Girls, or attending a bonfire. However, one thing remains consistent no matter the activity: I always wear something from Lululemon — not just when I’m at a yoga or Pilates class. As I type this, I actually have one of the brand’s cardigans on with a skirt and some ankle boots at the office.

The iconic athletic and athleisure wear brand offers high-quality items that can sometimes come with a steep price tag, which is why I’m a frequent visitor to its “We Made Too Much” section. Right now, the section is packed with everything from the brand’s famous Everywhere Belt Bag and Align Leggings to keychains, joggers, shoes, and sweatshirts. Check out some of the items I’m eyeing to make my holiday travels a bit more stylish and comfortable, as well as the finds I already own and recommend you snag starting at just $14.

Align High-rise Pants

Though I have a stack of black leggings, I often find myself searching through the pile for my Lululemon Aligns over and over again. These come with me on nearly every single trip I’ve been on for the past few years, and they’re essential during the holidays when I know more time will be spent lounging indoors than out sightseeing. This option has a leather-esque look that still feels just as lightweight, breathable, and buttery soft as the other beloved Align leggings, but it’s a tad more sophisticated than the classic black colorway. Pair it with a cardigan and some Mary Janes for a cute, yet comfy, holiday party look.

It seems like every other person I see anywhere I travel — from New York City to Italy to India — is wearing a belt bag. Ribbed Softstreme Flared Pants

These ribbed pants look like elegant corduroy trousers, but they’re actually yoga pants made with Lululemon’s patented Softstreme fabric, designed to feel as soft as peach fuzz. I have a shirt from that collection, so I can certainly attest to how great the material feels on my skin and I can’t wait to pair it with these pants for a snuggly chic head-to-toe outfit. Made with 100 percent recycled materials, it comes in seven cold-weather-ready colorways and jewel tones, but I’m eyeing the chocolate brown shade because it can be dressed up or down most easily.

Scuba Oversized Full-zip Hoodie

Admittedly, $99 isn’t exactly cheap for a hoodie, but I’ve been wearing this several times a week for three years. It’s one of the first clothing items I search for when I come home and take off my outside clothes, and it’s one of my favorite items to pack on trips because it’s lightweight and doesn’t take up much room despite how cozy it feels. I already own a gray one, but I’m eyeing this pink one from the We Made Too Much section, and I think the hue will add a nice pop of color to some casual jeans or leggings.

When I think of a backpack, the first image that comes to mind is something a lot less chic and sleek than this cool Lululemon option. I’ve tried many joggers in my day, but nothing can compete with the combination of style and comfort in this color-blocked style. These pair just as easily with a fitted black turtleneck, leather booties, and some fun jewelry for dinner out on the town as they do with a crewneck sweatshirt and sneakers for a flight. The lightweight, sweat-wicking fabric works all year round, too.

You can spend serious cash on a locksmith or you can get a hard-to-lose keychain for a fraction of the cost. I prefer the latter — as do the 2,500-plus Lululemon shoppers who gave this useful accessory a five-star rating. Made entirely out of recycled materials, the clip can be attached to your keys or even a wristlet to keep all your essentials together safely while you’re on the go.  

Define Relaxed-fit Jacket Luon

A cozy jacket is a must-have for any cold-weather trip. The Define Relaxed-fit Jacket, with its cotton-soft breathability and four-way stretch, is one of my go-to picks. I recommend spending a bit more on a quality lightweight jacket since it can be worn year-round over a T-shirt, sweater, or under a thicker coat. Personally, I keep the shock cords at the hem of these tight to give some shape to the otherwise cozy, breezy, and slouchy fit of the rest of the jacket.

Crossbody Camera Bag

A stylish crossbody bag is a travel essential and even more so when avoiding overpacking. This fashionable option, made entirely out of recycled fabrics, has a smart look with sophisticated details, meaning you’ll be able to wear it to the beach, sightseeing, or even a nice dinner without going back to your hotel room to swap accessories.

If you want to capture the casual vibe of a pullover sweatshirt that’s not too toasty when traveling to different climates, Lululemon’s Softstreme fabric always does the trick. I frequently travel from New York City to hot cities in India over the holidays, so I’m eyeing a breathable sweatshirt like this one to pair with several outfits. It would be comfy to wear on long international flights, plus I always want something lightweight to cozy up with when the air conditioning starts to feel a little too aggressive at my destination.

Fitted with a folding straw, this vacuum-insulated bottle is just the right size to slip into the side pocket of my carry-on tote. The double-wall design keeps the bottle condensation sweat-free, which is handy for those long international flights I often take to visit family around this time of year.  

Full Flourish Pullover

I’ll use any opportunity I can to buy more turtlenecks. During this time of year, my wardrobe is dominated by them, so I know this will be a staple in my outfit rotation whether I’m traveling or not. I can see myself pairing this elegant choice with a mini skirt and knee-high boots, and then some leggings for holiday movie marathons. I love how it cinches at the hem to add some shape to my figure but still has a comfy and breezy feel. Made with the brand’s Luxtreme fabric, it has a silky yet plush feel that I crave.

The Lightweight Mat 

This yoga mat, which I got as a Diwali gift three years ago and have used almost daily since has kind of changed the yoga mat game for me. The thick, highly-cushioned mat has an anti-sweat grip, which my clammy feet and I seriously appreciate in downward dog. It’s so comfortable that I even sit on it while I’m working from home sometimes. 

Align High-rise Crop Leggings

I’m not exaggerating when I say I own half a dozen Align leggings. I wear my cropped ones with some ankle socks in the wintertime, and while I already own many, I can’t not pay attention to this find from the “We Made Too Much” section. The made-for-fall olive green color will pair nicely with some sneakers and a sweatshirt for flights, and then the turtleneck above for hayrides.

Lululemon’s sneakers are popular amongst my friend group for their stylish look, reasonable price, and fit, and this option in pastel yellow is in my cart right now because I already own and love these in pink. Made with several layers of contoured cushioning for comfort and support, they’ve become my go-to pair for long walks and when I’m going out to dinner with jeans and a cute blouse, too.
