Emily Altshuler, G, Sr., Glenelg
The UC Davis signee saved 65 percent of the shots she faced and allowed just 10 goals in the Maryland state tournament, a three-game stretch that ended with a Class 2A title.
Gabby Greene, M, Sr., Archbishop Spalding
The Florida commit scored 65 goals for the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland semifinalist.
Kamryn Henson, M, Sr., Glenelg
The four-year varsity starter had to contend with extra defensive attention. Unfazed, she scored 52 goals en route to the program’s first state title since 2018.
Hailey Huebner, D, Sr., Good Counsel
The Stony Brook signee set a school record with 92 caused turnovers for a squad that allowed more than 10 goals just once.
Erin Hussey, M, Jr., Severna Park
The Falcons won their 16th state championship — the most in Maryland history — in large part because of the Delaware commit. She scored a team-high 58 goals and broke a school record with 112 draw controls.
Quinn Murray, M, Jr., Georgetown Visitation
The Stanford commit scored 54 goals for the Independent School League co-champion.
Madison Rassas, M, Sr., Georgetown Visitation
The four-year varsity starter and Notre Dame commit scored 57 goals and had 71 draw controls.
Coco Rigoli, M, Jr., Yorktown
The Patriots won their second Virginia Class 6 championship in three years behind Rigoli. The Liberty District player of the year scored 61 goals and had 101 draw controls.
Sophia Stoltz, A, Jr., Stone Ridge
Stoltz, who finished with 74 goals, scored the game-winner in the Gators’ ISL tournament championship game victory over Visitation. She is committed to North Carolina.
Kiri Weber, M, Sr., Stone Ridge
Weber scored 44 goals and helped the Gators repeat as ISL tournament champions. She is committed to play at Denver.
Maddie Wrenn, D, Sr., Spalding
Wrenn, a Clemson signee, led a Cavaliers defense that allowed just eight goals per game.
Public school dynasties usually have one constant: the coach. The Bruins — who have won the past four Maryland Class 4A championships — are no different. Kelley has been with the program since 2001. When she became the head coach in 2014, Broadneck had won three state titles; she has more than doubled that. This year’s team started 2-3 before winning 13 of its last 15 games. “This is a big responsibility to be a leader to young women,” Kelley said this spring. “That’s the most important aspect to me.”
