NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — If you think you may have the winning ticket, check your wallet, underneath the couch and even in your car visor… because you only have three more days to claim more than $42,000!  

“The person that has that ticket, you better look through your laundry basket, trash cans, go digging through the trash cans, look in your vehicles, everything,” said Hezekiah Settles, who shops at the Winn-Dixie in North Fort Myers where the winning ticket was sold. 

“It’s crazy to think someone bought a ticket here and it’s just missing,” Settles said. 

Randy and Noah Clark can’t believe it either.  

“I think it’s pretty crazy, it’s like we’re wondering who it could be, who has the unclaimed ticket?” Randy said.

Someone out there might not even know they’re missing out on a potentially life-changing chunk of cash.  

“If I was the person who had the winning lottery ticket and didn’t get it in time, I’d probably be very mad because I didn’t know that happened,” Noah said. 

Double, triple triple-check your lottery tickets. The winning numbers from the March 20th Fantasy Five drawing were 5-6-19-23-28.  

“Every time we get a lottery ticket, we re-overlook everything and if it was us, we’re going off the map,” Settles said. 

Now people just hope the mystery winner cashes it in before it’s too late. If not, 80 percent of the prize money will go toward the educational enhancement trust fund. The rest goes back to the state lottery.  

“I hope you find the ticket. Check anywhere you could possibly find it,” said the Clark’s.

“I hope someone finds it and wins it, it’s a blessing,” added Settles.
