The Songwriter Sanctuary series is bringing a hip-hop edition to the Normal Heights United Church. The Neighborhood Kids, The Brothers Burns and Rob Deez will be the featured local artists. The Songwriter Sanctuary usually hosts acoustic sets and behind-the-song storytelling, but for this concert, it is showcasing hip-hop acts and emcees. The event is hosted by Jeff Berkley. Marc Anthony: One of the top-selling salsa artists who has performed worldwide for over 20 years makes his way back to San Diego on his “Historia Tour.” Marc Anthony has sold more than 30 million albums and won two Grammy Awards and three Latin Grammys. Some of his hits include 2013’s “Vivir Mi Vida,” 1997’s “Y Hubo Alguien” and 2015’s “La Gozadera” with Gente de Zona. Mariachi Los Camperos: One way to celebrate the Halloween season is to take in a Dia De Los Muertos musical experience with Mariachi Los Camperos. Yngwie Malmsteen: Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen is celebrating his 40th anniversary as a professional musician by making a tour stop in San Diego.
