9-year-old boy critically injured after fall from third floor window in Rogers Park neighborhood, police say

Chicago police responded to an apartment complex overnight where a 9-year-old boy fell out of a 3rd floor window in the Rogers Park neighborhood, officials said.

Shortly after 2 a.m., officers were called to an apartment complex in the 1500 block of West Jonquil Terrace where a boy fell from a window. The boy suffered trauma to his body, and was taken in critical condition to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, police said.

Detectives were investigating.

Police responded to an apartment complex where a nine-year-old male fell out of a window from a third floor unit. The victim sustained trauma to the body and was transported to St. Francis Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Area Three Detectives are investigating.
