Carpentersville police have been working with law enforcement in Vernon Hills to locate a 17-year-old Carpentersville woman last seen Dec. 4.
Brissa Romero’s last known location is believed to have been near a Bowlero in Vernon Hills a week ago, according to a Carpentersville Police Department news releases. She was en route to a holiday party at the entertainment venue and her electronic devices last place her in the vicinity of the 316 Center Drive business, near the Hawthorn Mall.
Romero was dressed in a green shirt and black pants, and is described as having brown hair and eyes, standing 5 feet and weighing about 115 pounds. She drives a gray 2008 Nissan Rogue with the Illinois license plate CZ64618. A black coyote sticker is located to the right of the plate.
Drones have been used to search the area near the Bowlero, and police officers have checked local ponds to see if there’s any indication her vehicle may have gone into the water, a release said.

Her family is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to Romero’s return, the release said.
Romero is a 2023 graduate of Barrington High School, which she graduated from a year early, according to her family. She is studying to be an ultrasound technician at Harper College in Palatine.
