Chicago police are asking for the public’s help identifying a toddler boy found wandering alone overnight on the Far South Side.
Police said the boy is approximately 2 to 3-years-old and was seen walking alone shortly after 1:30 a.m. in the first block of West 107th Street in the Fernwood neighborhood.
Officers said the boy appeared to be healthy and had no physical signs of physical abuse, but was taken to Roseland Community Hospital for an evaluation.
The boy was described as Hispanic, about 3-feet tall and weighing 31 pounds. He has straight dark brown hair, a light complexion with hazel eyes. He was found without shoes or pants, and only speaks Spanish, officers said.
Police canvassed the area where the boy was found but did not find the child’s parents.
Anyone with information identifying the toddler should contact the Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.
