A male victim was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds lying in an alley overnight in the East Chatham neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly after midnight, the unidentified victim was found in an alley in the 1100 block of East 81st Place. The victim had suffered multiple wounds to the body and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
