Two women were caught about 30 minutes after robbing a victim Thursday night on the North Side, Chicago police said.
The women were arrested shortly before 8 p.m. in the 700 block of North Noble Street after they were identified as the duo who less than 30 minutes earlier battered and robbed a 29-year-old woman in the 700 block of Elizabeth Avenue.
Tamara Carter, 35, of West Garfield Park, and Stacey Sanders, 36, of the Austin neighborhood were both charged each with felony robbery and aggravated battery in a public place, police said.
Both were scheduled to appear Saturday at a detention hearing.
