It’s going to be another very humid day today, with onshore winds bringing a few downpours during the first half of the day.
We’re starting our day with well above average temperatures, as high humidity is leaving us with morning lows in the middle and upper 70s. Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s and low 90s by the afternoon, with ‘feels like’ numbers in the upper 90s.
The winds will also bring some downpours in off the Gulf early on today. Rain coverage will remain highly isolated, and the rain chances will quickly drop off as we head through the morning and into the afternoon. By the mid-afternoon, just about all of SWFL will be dry, as rain chances later today look to favor the east coast.
This pattern will hold through the rest of the week and the weekend — with continued onshore winds bringing isolated morning downpours and pushing that rain to the east coast through the afternoon. Highs will hold in the lower 90s.
