Police search for family of child found wandering in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Fort Myers Police found a young boy lost in the area of 2841 Broadway Friday afternoon.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, police have been unsuccessful in locating a home or family member of the child. The Florida Department of Children & Families has taken custody of the boy until a family member is located and reunited.

The young boy speaks Creole, if you recognize him please contact FMPD at 239-321-7700.
