Happy New Year to you!
It was such a beautiful end to 2023, and to start 2024, it’s looking just as nice!
High pressure will continue to keep us dry and chilly through New Year’s morning. Some of us will also be waking up to patchy fog, which will lift out by late morning.
With lots of sunshine for the holiday, highs will make their way near 70.
Clouds will increase overnight into Tuesday ahead of a cold front. These clouds will prevent our temperatures from as much as the previous few nights. Lows will still be pretty chilly, though, in the mid-50s.
Rain chances will be low with the front, but we can’t rule out an isolated shower on Tuesday morning. Most of the cloud cover will clear out by the afternoon, and highs will reach the upper 60s. Even though the cold front won’t be a strong one, it will reinforce the chilly air over SWFL, along with clear conditions through the middle of the week.
Our next best rain chance will be Thursday when the next front arrives.
