Three Chicago police officers were hospitalized after a car crash early Monday morning in the Burnside neighborhood, police said.
Police said their squad car was stopped at a light in the 800 block of East 95th Street when a speeding vehicle that was attempting to turn south lost control and struck their car at 1:08 a.m.
The three officers were transported to nearby hospitals in stable condition, police said. One officer had a broken pelvis, and the others were taken in for neck and back pain.
The driver was transported to the UChicago Medicine in good condition, and will be issued a citation, police said.
