A man is in hospital after he was hit by a car in Surrey Monday morning.
According to the Surrey RCMP, police were called to Scott Road and Nordel Way just before 6:20 a.m. after receiving reports of a pedestrian being hit.
Mounties say the man was taken to hospital with “unknown injuries.”
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police say, and is cooperating.
Traffic is being diverted at 86 Avenue for drivers heading north on Nordel Way. Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
