Vehicle collision sends two people to hospital in Surrey Thursday

Police say, a collision has sent two people to hospital in Surrey on Thursday evening.

Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a “multiple motor vehicle collision” around 8:37 p.m. at 144 Street.

Mounties say, a pedestrian was involved in the collision.

Surrey Fire Department and BC Ambulance Service attended the scene to provide assistance to those involved.

RCMP says, two people have been transported to hospital with “undetermined injuries.”

It says the traffic in the area will be affected as officers continue their investigation.

A road closure is in effect on 144 Street between 64 Avenue and 60 Avenue, and the public is asked to avoid the area until further notice.

RCMP says, the investigation is underway and investigators are looking for dash cam footage.
