As of the 11 PM advisory from the National Hurricane Center on Sunday, Tropical Storm Cindy has become post-tropical. Even though Cindy still has tropical storm force winds, it no longer has a defined center.
The winds are expected to drop below the tropical storm threshold by early Monday morning. The remnants of Cindy will continue to dissipate and drift northwest in the Atlantic.
High wind shear will most likely keep Cindy from regaining strength.
There are no other areas of concern for development at this time. Stay with ABC-7 for the latest updates with the tropics during this hurricane season.
