Megyn Kelly blasted “open penis showing” at Pride events like those in Seattle over the weekend, where men on bicycles appeared fully nude in public and in full view of children.
“The Pride events — the name has become ironic,” Kelly said during Monday’s episode of the SiriusXM podcast “The Megyn Kelly Show.”
“There’s nothing to be proud of when you see what is from Seattle to New York at these so-called Pride events,” Kelly added.
She added: “Open penis showing at the Pride parades like in Seattle … it’s several men, totally naked on bikes waving.”
“Oh, they wore helmets, though — they covered that head!” Kelly commented.
“What the hell is happening with Pride?”
Kelly joined the chorus of outrage over videos and images that went viral on social media over the weekend.
In New York City, LGBTQ activists participating in the annual Drag March chanted: “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children.”
A video clip from Sunday’s Pride parade in Minneapolis showed a man twerking in front of a group of children, igniting a backlash from conservative commentators online.
Kelly also referenced viral video showing protesters in Seattle and New York shouted down by large crowds of revelers, including some who tore up a Bible belonging to a preacher.
“Now I have been around long enough and living in New York City for nearly two decades to know the Pride events have typically been a little raunchy,” Kelly said.
“But they’ve taken it next-level!”
Kelly’s guest, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald, himself a gay man, criticized the LGBTQ movement, accusing it of destroying the “culture war consensus based on the principle that adults have the right to live their lives in whatever way they think will bring them the most self-actualization.”
“All of that has unraveled because the LGBTQIA+2 movement — or whatever acronym you prefer — has basically waged a war on that principle,” Greenwald said.
“They want to indoctrinate people’s children [and] they’re claiming you are required to get certain trans-affirming treatment for your children even if they identify as trans, even if you don’t want them to and you can be deemed guilty of child abuse and have your children taken away if you don’t,” Greenwald added.
