Pedestrian taken to hospital after serious accident in Coquitlam

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being struck in Coquitlam Thursday evening.

The Coquitlam RCMP says the accident happened on Mariner way near Dolphin Street just after 6 p.m.

The driver is cooperating with police, police say.

“Mariner Way between Hawser Avenue and Dewdney Trunk Road is currently closed while the BC Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) investigates,” Mounties told CityNews.
