There are a couple of storms out there Friday evening, but most of the storms will wrap up once it gets dark.
Temperatures are cooling into the lower 80s and upper 70s, but it will continue to be muggy overnight.
Saturday will start off warm and sunny. As it heats up, clouds will start rolling in. We could see some downpours popping up as early as 11 AM near the coast. The storms will spread inland, but another round of rain is possible in the late afternoon/evening.
We will get some sunshine mixed in throughout the day, so it will still get hot. Highs will approach the lower-mid 90s.
Sunday’s forecast will be similar, with coastal showers late in the morning and spotty storms in the afternoon/evening.
The rainy pattern continues into next week. Fingers crossed that it will dry out in time for fireworks on the 4th.
Tracking the Tropics
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is only tracking one broad area of storms in the Atlantic that has very low chances for development. There are no threats to Florida and there are no other areas of concern at this time.
