It looks like the premier is about to announce another big transit-linked housing development.

B.C. Premier David Eby and Transportation Minister Rob Fleming will be in North Vancouver Monday morning, slated to talk about housing around transit hubs.

Eby and Fleming will be holding the event near the SeaBus terminal in Lower Lonsdale, not far from the soon-to-be former headquarters of ICBC.

Earlier this year, the province passed a law establishing minimum levels of density and size of developments near transit hubs.

As part of the new legislation, local governments must designate a number of transit-oriented development zones by June 30, 2024.
