Mikayla Bartos, Sr., West Springfield

The Duquesne commit shined in the stroke seat of West Springfield’s top varsity four, which won gold at the Virginia Scholastic Rowing Association championships.

Ella Dowley, Sr., Potomac School

Committed to Dartmouth, Dowley took gold in the varsity single at the VASRA championships.

Gigi DuFour, Sr., Bethesda-Chevy Chase

DuFour was the driving force over the past three seasons behind the Barons’ top varsity eight boat, which won at the Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Rowing Association championships in May.

Alanna Dunnigan, Sr., Colgan

Dunnigan impressed local coaches from the stroke seat of the Sharks’ top varsity eight boat.

Gabby Fenwick, Sr., Seton

Fenwick was Seton’s senior captain and stroked the program’s top varsity four boat.

Aniset Idriss, Sr., Jackson-Reed

Lauded for her work ethic, Idriss led the Tigers to a third-place finish at the WMIRA championships.

With Lee in the stroke seat, the Vikings finished second in the top varsity eight race at the WMIRA meet.

Mira Meek, Jr., Wakefield

Meek was a key cog in the Warriors’ Virginia state championship-winning top varsity eight boat.

Ellie Vander Ploeg Fallon, Sr., W.T. Woodson

The Stanford commit helped the Cavaliers take silver at the Virginia state championships in the first varsity eight boat.

Carmen Torrecilla, Sr., Bethesda-Chevy Chase

Torrecilla, who will row at Georgetown next year, took the Barons’ program to new heights in the top varsity eight boat.

Natalie Kaldahl, Sr., Wakefield

Kaldahl sat in the seventh seat of Wakefield’s top varsity eight boat, one of the fastest in the country.

Brian Comey, Bethesda-Chevy Chase

With Comey at the helm, the Barons took gold in the top varsity and second varsity eight boats at WMIRA, in addition to the team overall points trophy. B-CC also medaled in its top two eight boats at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta in Philadelphia.
