WILDCOAST held its 2024 Baja Bash last month and raised $281,000 that will go directly into the organization’s programs in the field to protect global coastal and marine ecosystems and endangered wildlife.

Ron and Philly Montbleau hosted the Baja Bash for more than 300 guests at their home that overlooks the ocean and San Elijo Lagoon in North County.

Top chefs from San Diego and Baja California served myriad offerings, such as fresh oysters from Drew Deckman’s 31ThirtyOne, ceviche from Roberto Alcocer’s VALLE, and chocolate and tequila cake from Karen Krasne’s Extraordinary Desserts.

Guests also enjoyed such beverages as Bivouac Cider, Solento Tequila, Seven Caves La Jolla Cove Gin, Baja Brewing craft beers, and wines from Lumen, JJ Knox, and Austin Hope, served by La Costa Wines.

San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria presented WILDCOAST with a special award in recognition of its support of efforts to reduce debris in the Tijuana River Valley.
