“Chicago Med” is adding two new series regulars for Season 10.
Sarah Ramos and Darren Barnet have both been cast in the NBC medical drama, with Ramos set to play Dr. Caitlin Lenox and Barnet to play Dr. John Frost. They will appear alongside cast members S. Epatha Merkerson, Oliver Platt, Marlyne Barrett, Jessy Schram, Steven Weber, and Luke Mitchell.
Ramos was recently seen in the hit FX series “The Bear.” She is also known for starring in shows like “Parenthood,” “Midnight, Texas,” and “Winning Time.” In 2017, she wrote, starred in, and directed the web series “City Girl,” based on a screenplay she wrote when she was 12. In film, Ramos has been in productions such as “Babylon,” “The Boy Downstairs,” and “Ask for Jane.”
She is repped by Echo Lake Entertainment and Ziffren Brittenham.
Barnet is best known for his role in the Netflix series “Never Have I Ever,” which aired for four seasons at the streamer. He has also voiced characters in the Netflix animated shows “Blue Eyed Samurai,” “Skull Island,” “Jurassic World: Chaos Theory,” and “Samurai Rabbit.” He has been in films like “Anyone but You,” “Road House,” and “Love Hard.”

Season 10 of “Chicago Med” begins airing on NBC on Sept. 25, airing at 8 p.m. ET/PT as the first show of the One Chicago block on Wednesday nights. The series is executive produced by Dick Wolf, Allen MacDonald, Stephen Hootstein and Peter Jankowski. Universal Television produces in association with Wolf Entertainment.
