COMPTON, Calif. – A 41-year-old man has been convicted in the robbery and shooting death of rapper PnB Rock at a South Los Angeles restaurant two years ago.

Freddie Lee Trone was found guilty in Compton Superior Court of one count each of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery, along with two counts of second-degree robbery involving the 30-year-old rapper and his fiancé. Co-defendant Tremont Jones was found guilty of two robbery counts and conspiracy to commit robbery. Sentencing is set for Aug. 27 in Compton Superior Court.
