Rebel Wilson is now a married woman.

The Pitch Perfect star, 44, has officially tied the knot with her partner, fashion and jewelry designer Ramona Arguma, 40. Wilson confirmed the news with a simple Instagram post, sharing a photo of the brides in their white wedding gowns with the caption, “Married.” PEOPLE reports that the intimate ceremony took place on Saturday Sept. 28 in Sardinia, Italy.

Representatives for Wilson did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly’s request for further comment.

The couple previously took their romance public in 2022, in a Pride Month Instagram post that also saw Wilson publicly come out.

“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,” she captioned a cuddly shot of her and Agruma, her then-girlfriend. She ended the post with a rainbow emoji, some hearts, and the hashtag #loveislove.

Prior to the reveal, Wilson spoke to PEOPLE about her new relationship, explaining that they were set up through a mutual friend.

“We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting,” Wilson said. “And that was a really good way to get to know each other. It was a bit old-school in that sense — very romantic.”

She added, “I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it’s great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship. There were times — I’m not saying with all my exes, they’re great — but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn’t have. So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship.”

Later that year, the couple welcomed their first child together, via a surrogate, a baby girl named Royce Lillian. 

2023 marked another big year for the couple with Wilson popping the question to her now-wife in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland in California. She would later share photos of the moment on social media, including a photo of Wilson down on one knee, holding a blue Tiffany & Co. ring box. 

“We said YES,” Wilson captioned the post.

Wilson also detailed the monumental moment in her 2024 memoir, Rebel Rising. Wilson explains that she proposed on Valentine’s Day 2023 by convincing Agruma that they had to go to Disneyland to “try the new Mickey and Minnie ride.” Instead, she pulled out all the romantic stops.

“Ramona sees the pastel rose petals all over the ground and the roses in vases,” she wrote. “I tell her how special she is to me. And then I get down on one knee and open the ring box. I end with ‘So in this cliché way, on this cliché day, Ramona Agruma, will you marry me?’ ‘Yes,’ she says through the tears streaming down her face.”
