Are you an expert on current events, history, the government and more?

Now it’s your chance to prove it.

The “Spectrum News Challenge” is a quiz show designed to foster news literacy and celebrate the pursuit of higher education.

On season two of the “Spectrum News Challenge,” 16 teams of incredibly smart high school students will compete in a tournament-style trivia competition. The four top-scoring “winning” teams will advance to the semi-finals round. The winners of those semi-final match-ups will advance to the championship match with the chance to win $15,000.

Each show features four rounds of questions and answers, including a final make-or-break question delivered by a “mystery newsmaker.”

Who will be crowned the “Spectrum News Challenge” champion? Tune in every Wednesday starting July 12 at 8:30 p.m. EST/CST/PST to find out.
