Steve Martin is seemingly getting in on the romance rumors circulating about his Only Murders in the Building costars Meryl Streep and Martin Short!
If you were unaware, fans have been speculating that the costars are dating in real life since the 2024 Golden Globes back in January. At the time, Martin‘s rep said that they were “just very good friends.” However, they have since been seen holding hands at events.
Just this week, they were spotted out for a night on the town with another big Hollywood couple.
Now, Steve has taken to social media to post a photo with the duo, and he seems to be getting in on the fun!

On Instagram, Steve shared a photo of himself with Martin and Meryl, which was used in a Glamour magazine article. However, he put a big red X over his face.
Fans rushed to the comments section to speculate on the meaning of the image, which was presented without comment.
“I don’t know why the thought of Meryl and Martin makes me so happy but it honestly fills my heart with joy,” one fan wrote.
Another asked if Steve “just hard launch[ed] the relationship.”
