If you have a strict budget to adhere to, it can be easy to write off certain stores as a non-option. Considering luxury retailers work with some of the world’s best, most notable top designers and brands, it’s no surprise that their average price points for clothes are higher than others. As a shopping editor on a budget myself, I’ll admit that Nordstrom isn’t typically my go-to option for wardrobe staples —  but after further exploring the site, that’s about to change.

Thanks to the site’s price range filtering option and massive sale sections, I was able to find tons of budget-friendly fall essentials that still have the same quality and luxurious appeal as their higher-end offerings. Need proof? Ahead, I’ve compiled a list of my 10 favorite fall styles from the site, all $50 or less. From spacious duffel bags to cozy knit sweaters and comfy loafers, these fashion-forward picks are suited for just about any fall wardrobe (and on a $50 budget like I’m working with).  

Zella Men’s Raid Insulated Jacket

Constructed with a contemporary spread collar, a deep chest pocket, and snap button closures, this quilted jacket is great on top of T-shirts, polos, and button-downs, and can be worn under a heavy jacket for additional warmth. In that same vein, one five-star reviewer calls this a “great versatile jacket,” adding that it’s a “nice alternative” to heavy, bulky down coats.
