Strictly Come Dancing results RECAP: Latest updates and reaction as Paul Merson becomes the fourth celebrity to be dumped from the BBC competition after losing dance-off with JB Gill
Paul Merson has tonight become the fourth celebrity to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing after losing a dance-off against JB Gill.
The former England and Arsenal footballer finished bottom of the leaderboard on Saturday after judges gave him 19 points.
He waved farewell to the ballroom tonight after losing a dance-off against Gill who scored 30 points during the live show.

Supporters have pointed out there has been little cheer for the Gunners after losing 2-0 away to Bournemouth while title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool both won their matches on Sunday afternoon.

Paul admits his disappointment, but adds: ‘It was time’.

Discussing JB ending up in the dance-off, Craig said: ‘All of us agree, he’s absolutely fantastic. It shows you need to have the public on side as well as be a great dancer.’
Speaking about Chris’ dance, Motsi explains: ‘For me most of the time it’s about what the contestants leave us feeling. Of course we have dance technical, but at the end of the day people fall in love with the emotions. I saw his face and saw everything he felt and it’s beautiful to see’.
Dianne reveals what dance Chris will be doing next week…
The comedian admits he prefers ballroom dances as calls Latin ‘nonsense’.

A fourth celebrity will tonight waltz off the dancefloor for the final time after 12 routines were performed on Saturday.
The leaderboard does not make pretty reading for former England and Arsenal footballer Paul Merson and Karen Hauer who ended Saturday night in last place with 19 points.
Dr Purnam Krishnan and Gorka Marquez are languishing just above with 21 while Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał are precariously placed on 22.
