The stars of the acclaimed movie Emilia Perez stepped out for the latest premiere!
Adriana Paz, Karla Sofia Gascon, Zoe Saldana, Selena Gomez, and Edgar Ramirez walked the red carpet together at the film’s L.A. premiere on Monday night (October 21) at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
Zoe was joined on the carpet by her husband Marco Perego while Edgar brought his friend Sofia Boutella as his plus one.
Emilia Perez, directed by French filmmaker Jacques Audiard, is billed as “an audacious fever dream that defies genres and expectations. Through liberating song and dance and bold visuals, this odyssey follows the journey of four remarkable women in Mexico, each pursuing their own happiness. The fearsome cartel leader Emilia (Gascón) enlists Rita (Saldana), an unappreciated lawyer stuck in a dead-end job, to help fake her death so that Emilia can finally live authentically as her true self.”
The movie is expected to get several Oscar nominations, including acting nods for Karla and Zoe!
Emilia Pérez will be released in theaters on November 1 before hitting Netflix on November 13. Watch the trailer here!
