Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin have double down on their endorsement of Kamala Harris for president. Their public support came following Donald Trump‘s rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night, which featured comedian Tony Hinchcliffe calling Puerto Rico a “floating pile of garbage.”

Lopez, who previously proclaimed Harris as her pick for president, shared several slides from Harris’ campaign following the backlash to Hinchcliffe’s set on her Instagram story. Several came from a post by Harris detailing what she would do to support Puerto Rico economically if elected. “I have long been committed to Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rican people,” Harris noted in the caption. “Together, let’s build a better future for both.”

Martin shared the same post, as well as a video of Hinchcliffe. Alongside the clip, he wrote in Spanish, “This is what they think of us.” In one of Martin’s stories, he claimed that a grid post of the same video had been “shadow banned” and was not showing up on his profile.

The singers’ support came alongside an endorsement for Harris from Bad Bunny, who also shared a video of Harris speaking about her plans for his home of Puerto Rico. In the video, Harris slams Donald Trump’s approach to the island during his presidency. “I will never forget what Donald Trump did and what he did not do when Puerto Rico needed a caring and competent leader,” she said. “He abandoned the island. He tried to block aid after back-to-back devastating hurricanes, and offered nothing more than paper towels and insults.”

During his divisive, racist set at Madison Square Garden, Hinchcliffe spoke negatively of Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory. “There’s a lot going on,” he said. “Like I don’t know if you know this, but there’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico.”

The comedian responded on X, formerly Twitter, attempting to defend himself by saying, “These people have no sense of humor. Wild that a vice presidential candidate would take time out of his ‘busy schedule’ to analyze a joke taken out of context to make it seem racist. I love Puerto Rico and vacation there. I made fun of everyone…watch the whole set.”

Lopez, Martin, and Bad Bunny join numerous musicians who have publicly endorsed Harris, including Taylor Swift, Cher, Bruce Springsteen, and Beyoncé.
