Catherine, Princess of Wales chose a lovely, eye-catching ensemble for her latest Wimbledon appearance.
The royal attended the women’s finals at the All England Lawn and Tennis Club (AELTC) today, where she sat in the royal box to watch the match between Czech Republic’s Markéta Vondroušová and Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur. Following the match, the princess will present the trophy as patron of the AELTC, in a sure-to-be historic event as neither of the competitors have won a Grand Slam before.
For the occassion, Kate wore a bright, lime green midi dress by Self-Portrait, comprised of a short-sleeved bouclé top with a matching green belt and an airy pleated chiffon skirt. She completed the look with a pair of nude suede heels while carrying a matching suede clutch by Emmy London, and her array of jewelry included floral-shaped pearl and diamond earrings by Cassandra Goad, as well as her sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
Kate sat next to tennis legend Billie Jean King during the match, and the two enthusiasts were photographed discussing the spirited match. Several celebrities were in attendance at the women’s finals, including Maggie Smith, Emma Watson, Andrew Garfield, Issa Rae, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
For her first appearance at this year’s tournament earlier this month, the royal wore another bright green look with an added retro spin. She paired a pastel green blazer by Balmain, which featured contrasting white lapels and fabric buttons, with a white midi-length skirt with delicate pleats and white pointed-toe heels by Gianvito Rossi. Her accessories included her beloved pearl drop earrings from London-based brand Shyla, a gold cuff bracelet by Sézane, and a small white Mulberry Amberley bag.
