As of 4 p.m. Thursday, no storms have popped up yet, but there is still the chance to see some rain tonight. Isolated t-storms are expected to develop along our sea breeze through the evening. Because of an easterly wind aloft, these storms will push back toward the coast.
It will be muggy overnight with temperatures only falling back into the lower 70s by sunrise.
With a mix of sun and clouds, Friday’s set-up will be similar to Thursday’s. We will have another hot day with temperatures in the lower 90s. The easterly wind could prevent the sea breeze storms from forming along the coast, and instead push storm formation in the Gulf. However, if the breeze isn’t as strong and the sea breeze pushes further inland, we will see storms set up in the urban corridor. With that being said, rain chances are at 30%.
We will continue to be hot and muggy over the weekend with the chance of an afternoon/evening shower.
