CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A Cape Coral teenager is getting recognized after wowing the world with her acrobatics.
Skylar Socey recently went to the 2023 World Acrobatic Championships in Mexico to represent Team USA. At just 13 years old, Skylar ranked 17th globally in the teen acrobatic dance division.
The city said she is a dedicated student of North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts and Studio 8 in Cape Coral. They honored her with a community recognition award at a recent city council meeting.
