Man discovered dead in Rogers Park neighborhood, Chicago police said

Chicago police are conducting a death investigation after a man was discovered deceased Friday morning in the Rogers Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.

Around 5:45 a.m., an unidentified male was found unresponsive in the 1000 block of West Columbia Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police said the man was not found in the water, or near the shoreline.

Detectives are conducting a death investigation pending autopsy results.
