Brian Austin Green has revealed the profound challenges Shannon Doherty is facing as she continues to battle terminal cancer.
Green, 50, who was revealed as the singer behind Crash Test Dummy on The Masked Singer Australia on Monday, is in regular contact with his 90210 co-star.
Doherty, 52, shared the devastating news in June that her stage 4 cancer had metastasised to her brain.
Her battle began in 2015 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, undergoing a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.
She had been in remission until 2020.

‘She’s an incredibly tough person,’ Brian told the Herald Sun on Tuesday.
‘If there’s anyone who could put up a real fight to cancer – she’s one of them.
‘It’s not an easy situation, obviously, but I love her to death,’ he continued.
Green also elaborated on his own health struggles after his unveiling on The Masked Singer Australia.

His issues began with ulcerative colitis, after which he developed vertigo and neurological problems that affected his speech patterns.
‘I couldn’t speak, I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t read. I didn’t work for four years,’ he told the publication.
However, the Hollywood star claimed he improved after working with doctors in the field of natural medicine.

After taking off his mask on Monday’s episode of The Masked Singer, the 50-year-old left judges Melanie Brown, Abbie Chatfield, Dave Hughes and Chrissie Swan stunned, with none of them able to guess his identity.
The judges final guesses included singers Nick Carter and Niall Horan, track and field athlete John Steffensen and Donnie Wahlberg from New Kids On The Block fame.
Crash Test Dummy competed against Cowgirl, Space Fairy, Bad Avocado and The Grim Reaper during the episode.
