Aurora Christian and Hampshire join rankings topped by St. Charles North. Maryland recruit Katherine Scherer is the player of the week.

Sophomore Mia McCall sets pace for North Stars in back-to-back, two-game sweeps.

2. Metea Valley 12-3 (2)

Possible showdown? Mustangs join St. Charles North at Wheaton Warrenville South tourney.

3. Oswego 8-0 (3)

Panthers’ winning streak at eight straight with just three matches over 16-day stretch.

4. Geneva 8-3 (9)

Lillian Hallahan notches nine kills and 10 digs to power Vikings past DeKalb.

Molly Chapman puts down seven kills in 25-10, 25-19 win over Indian Creek.

Two points separate Knights in tough 25-21, 21-25, 25-23 loss to Ottawa.

They’ve got hope. Sophomore outside hitter Hope Wagner leads Eagles with 100 kills.

St. Charles North’s Katherine Scherer, a Maryland recruit and 6-foot-3 senior outside hitter, puts up 12 kills, three blocks, seven digs and 18 serve receives with one error in two-game wins over Naperville Central and Batavia.
