Happy Monday to you!
Today’s forecast is pretty similar to what we saw yesterday across SWFL.
Showers and storms will pop up offshore through the morning and creep onshore through about lunchtime. The seabreeze will be able to push inland today, which will bring our best rain chance east of I-75.
We are also tracking a cold front moving closer to SWFL today. Just as the cold front reaches the humid air in Central Florida, it will start to stall out just to our north. But it will bring us that extra moisture needed to kick up scattered showers and storms over the next few days. Rain chances are near 40% for the coast and 60% for inland SWFL.
Highs will reach the lower 90s. It is forecast to merge with a second frontal system mid-week, which could drop our morning lows by the weekend into the lower 70s.
