Shots fired at apartment complex leads to arrest of Fort Myers woman

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A Fort Myers woman was arrested after gunshots were fired at an apartment complex Tuesday afternoon.

At around 12:30 p.m., police responded to 3541 Evans Avenue after shots were heard at Sunterra Apartments, according to the Fort Myers Police Department.

No one was injured by the reckless gunfire. Officers spoke with three victims and a suspect, 28-year-old Lloykiesa Jones, was later detained.

Jones was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She remains in the Lee County Jail.
