FORT MYERS, Fla. – Big changes may be coming to the City of Palms Park in the heart of Fort Myers.

Instead of playing baseball here, the City of Fort Myers is suggesting maybe extending the facility to incorporate restaurants, retail shops and recreation.

But first, the city wants to hear from you!

The former spring training home of the Boston Red Sox sits empty most of the time and the city has tried to years to do something about it; whether to tear it down, or renovate it.

The city wants you to give your input on what the future of the park should be.

You can head to the City of Palms park Wednesday at 6pm or Thursday, September 28th. If you can’t make either but still want to share your suggestions, there is an online survey that can be found here.
