Warmer temperatures with highs in upper 70s expected

National Weather Service officials are expecting warmer temperatures with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s Wednesday.

There is a 30% chance of rain Wednesday with with scattered showers and thunderstorms by 10 a.m., then isolated storms are expected until 11 a.m., officials said.

Wednesday night, temperatures are expected to drop to the mid 60s, with partly cloudy conditions.

Thursday morning there is a 20% chance of showers until 1 p.m. and a high in the mid 70s is expected, officials said.

Morning conditions at O’Hare International Airport are mostly cloudy at 68 degrees. At Midway Airport conditions are the same at 66 degrees.
