Three adults were pronounced dead after being found unresponsive Friday morning at a senior building in the city’s Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side, Chicago police said.
Details were few, but police responded around 6:30 a.m. to the 5800 block of North Broadway Street and found three people unresponsive.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The others were taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital where they were listed in critical condition and later pronounced dead, police said.
The circumstances leading up to police being summoned to Edgewater were not immediately available.
Detectives were investigating the deaths pending autopsy results.
The Judge Fisher Apartments is a 195 unit high-rise senior building in Edgewater, according to the building’s online website. .
