Taylor Swift fans are slamming Olivia Wilde, 39, after the “Don’t Worry Darling” director shared a tweet to her Instagram Story on Thursday wishing Swift, 33, “was in love with a climate scientist.”
The post immediately caused “Bad Blood” between Wilde and Swift’s legion of fans.
“I get it but like also…who is Olivia Wilde to say s–t,” sneered one fan on X (formerly Twitter). “I don’t remember Harry Styles restoring the ozone when they were dating.”
“She wasn’t worried about climate change when she was flying cross the country to go chase Harry lmao,” jeered a second person.
“Olivia Wilde is the last person who should be criticizing anyone about who they date,” chided a third user.
Wilde and Harry Styles, 29, split in November 2022 after nearly two years of dating.
A fourth user referenced Will Smith’s infamous 2022 Oscars slap when they told Wilde to “keep my wife’s name (Taylor Swift) out your mouth.”
But one X user quickly told the director’s critics that they needed to calm down.
“I don’t even like Olivia Wilde but I think she was real for that! yall are BORED,” sighed a user.
The Post reached out to Wilde and Swift reps for comment.
Wilde’s comments come amid rumors that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, 34, has become Swift’s latest “Lover.”
Swift’s “love story” with Kelce began after the two-time Super Bowl champ lamented failing to give her his number during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City in July.
The “Bejeweled” songstress, who is on a break from her record-breaking tour, broke the internet when she showed up at Arrowhead Stadium last month to cheer on her rumored beau as he squared off against the Chicago Bears.
Swift and her famous pals, including recently single “Game of Thrones” actress Sophie Turner, 27, Blake Lively, 36, and Hugh Jackman, 54, filled up a suite’s “Blank Space” at MetLife Stadium last week to watch the Chiefs narrowly beat the New York Jets 23 to 20.
For his part, Kelce has been handling the whirlwind romance with “Style,” claiming that he wants to keep the media’s attention on football rather than the couple’s “End Game.”
“I want to respect both of our lives,” Kelce said on his podcast “New Heights.”
“She’s not in the media as much as I am doing this show every single week and having fun during the NFL season on other guys’ shows,” he continued. “I’m enjoying life, and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend.”
“Everything moving forward, I think me talking about sports … will kind of have to be where I keep it,” concluded Kelce.
