Two men were injured Tuesday night when they were fighting on the CTA Red Line and one began stabbing the person he was fighting with, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 9 p.m., a 28-year-old man and a 21-year-old got into a fight in a train car and one of them pulled out a knife, stabbing the other in the stomach, head and arms. An ambulance was called to the 95th Street Red Line station and he was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
The other man suffered lacerations to his hand, and was taken to the same hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
A knife was recovered at the scene and detectives were investigating.
