LELY, Fla. — The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is putting Crown Pointe community members in search parties on Thursday morning to find a missing 80-year-old woman who had Alzheimer’s disease.

Residents in the Crown Pointe neighborhood gathered for a prayer vigil outside their neighborhood clubhouse on Wednesday night. They pray that Gallaway will be found alive.

At 9 a.m. on Thursday, volunteers will gather outside the neighborhood clubhouse. First responders will put them into search parties and send them to different areas to find Margaret Gallaway.

There is a second search party being held at 8 a.m. outside the neighborhood clubhouse on Thursday morning by the Marco Patriots. They said anyone is welcome to join.

“I think a lot of people are getting very stressed and we’re sad and we’re all hoping for the best and trying to keep hopeful and keep on praying for a miracle for this lady and her family,” Carol Huber said.

2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon will mark three days since Gallaway’s disappearance. Gallaway left her house and hasn’t been seen since.
