CAPE CORAL, Fla. — It is time again for the community to come together to enjoy life and experience Southwest Florida’s biggest party – the 38th Annual Cape Coral OKTOBERFEST!

This year’s dates are October 20, 21, 22, and 27, 28, 29 – the last two full weekends of the month.

The event features three stages, two dance floors, a carnival area, and vendors.

Tickets are available here in advance for $8 and at the gate for $10. Children under 12 are free.

This year, the event offers an enhanced VIP experience for those who want extra comfort and exclusivity. For $100, with limited availability, you can access a dedicated VIP area in the tent. This area comes with its bar and private restrooms.

VIP ticket holders will have exclusive access to a VIP parking lot and faster gate entry.

Your ticket includes admission to Oktoberfest, dinner at Von Steuben Hall, a Bierstein with up to four refills, a Jägermeister drink, and a gift bag.

Last year the event was canceled because Hurricane Ian damaged the property located at 2101 Southwest Pine Island Road.

Extensive menu of delicious homemade-style German specialties:

  • Schnitzel Varieties
  • German Potato Salad,
  • Sauerkraut, Pretzels
  • Bratwurst, Bauenwurst and Weisswurst
  • And our favorite Potato Pancakes

Sit-down dinners will be served in Von Steuben Hall:

  • Schnitzel
  • Sauerbraten
  • Dumplings
  • Noodles
  • Red Cabbage

And much more food in food vendor areas, such as:

  • Pizza, Gyros, Sandwiches
  • Hamburgers, Hot Dogs
  • Popcorn, Ice Cream

There will be an area for kids filled with bounce houses, trampolines, a train and carnival games.

“There’s gonna be something for everyone,” said Stephen Bauer, president of Cape Coral’s German American Social Club.

Bauer said the club tried to make the experience feel just like Oktoberfest in Munich.

“A 30 thousand square foot festival tent seats thousands of people has a massive dance floor has four beer bars,” he said.

On October 20 and 27, the event will run from 4 p.m. to midnight.

On October 21 and 28, it will run from noon to midnight.

On October 22 and 29, it will run from noon to 8 p.m.

Erich Kohls is the vice president of Cape Coral’s German American Social Club. He said he’s thankful the club gets to put this big party on for the community this year.

“We have a lot of ground to make up, missing it with Ian and then two years before that we were shut down for COVID-19,” he said.
