Cruise’s Driverless-Car Permits Suspended in California by DMV

The California Department of Motor Vehicles suspended Cruise’s autonomous vehicle deployment and driverless testing permits Tuesday, citing safety concerns

The DMV said Cruise’s vehicles aren’t safe for public operation and the company has misrepresented information related to the safety of the technology of the vehicles. Cruise is majority-controlled by General Motors.
