Matthew Perry’s final public outing before his death was at dinner with a friend in Los Angeles on Sunday, Oct 22.

The “Friends” alum appeared relaxed as he stepped out for the sunny outing. He wore sunglasses, a teal shirt and sweatpants, and carried a beverage as he walked outside.

Nearly one week later, the “Odd couple” actor reportedly died at age 54 of an apparent drowning. He was found dead in the jacuzzi of his home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of LA just after 4 p.m. Saturday.

In a statement, the Los Angeles Police Department told The Post: “We responded to the 1800 block of Blue Sail Rd for a death investigation on a male 4:10 p.m. this afternoon. He was in his 50s.”

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that they received a call about an apparent cardiac arrest, but no drugs were found at the scene and no foul play is suspected. It is unclear at this time who made the 911 call.

Perry played Chandler Bing on the beloved NBC sitcom “Friends” for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004. He and his co-stars — Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlank — reunited for a 2021 HBO Max special.

During the height of the show, Perry did multiple stints in rehab. His alcohol addiction began around the time he landed the show at age 24 and he later developed an opioid addiction after being prescribed them for an accident he endured.

He would go on to reveal in his 2022 memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” that he was at one point taking 55 Vicodin pills daily and he went down to 120 pounds at his lowest weight.

He opened up about overcoming his struggles in an interview with People in November 2022.

“I’m a pretty healthy guy right now,” he said at the time. “What I’m most surprised with is my resilience. The way that I can bounce back from all of this torture and awfulness. Wanting to tell the story, even though it’s a little scary to tell all your secrets in a book, I didn’t leave anything out. Everything’s in there.”

He also spoke about his love life and his desire to have children.

“I think I’d be great. I really do,” he told People. “I grew up with a lot of little kids around me, and that’s probably why, but I can’t wait.”

As for love, he added: “I’m not run by the fear I used to be run by so everything’s kind of different. I’m feeling more confident and I’m not afraid of love anymore, so the next girl I go out with better watch out.”
