Our string of nice weather continues today, with dry and sunny weather expected across SWFL.
We’ll start our Memorial Day with a mix of clouds and sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures. Look for temperatures to climb from morning lows near 70° to afternoon highs in the lower 90s. Humidity will stay fairly low for this time of year, and combined with a steady north breeze, will keep things feeling pretty comfortable. Most spots will stay rain-free, with only a few highly isolated downpours expected deep inland this afternoon and evening.
Tropical moisture will make a comeback tomorrow — and so too will the chances for downpours and thunderstorms. After a dry start, look for storms to develop by the mid-afternoon and stay scattered across the area through sunset. A few storms will be strong packing torrential rain and frequent lightning and gusty winds. Highs will reach the lower 90s before the rain begins.
Stormy weather will stick around through the second half of the week as well with scattered to widespread storms expected each afternoon. Highs will hold near 90°
